Dr. Judith Möllers is an agricultural economist and has been a senior scientist at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) in Halle (Saale), Germany, since 2006. She works on issues of rural development with a focus on Southeast Europe. Her areas of expertise and professional interest span smallholder farming and rural livelihoods, structural change in agriculture, migration, cooperation, rural poverty, and rural non-farm employment. Dr Möllers was involved in a wide variety of international research and consultancy projects funded for instance by the European Union or the World Bank. Dr Möllers has written internationally recognised conference papers, book chapters, and journal articles.
