The 25th Agricultural Policy Forum (APF) titled “Navigating EU Integration and the Impact of Climate Change on Agriculture: Ensuring the Future of Our Farmers and Food in South East Europe,” convened in Ohrid, North Macedonia, from 3 to 4 June 2025. It provided a platform to assess the progress of the APF process, address policy and operational issues, and to explore current challenges and opportunities in agriculture and rural development in South Eastern Europe (SEE).

The Agricultural Policy Forum 2024 was held under the joint auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in SEE. The APF 2024 gathered more than 130 policymakers, researchers, academia, civil society, private sector and other stakeholders from 17 countries across Europe in Jahorina, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 5th and 6th of June 2024.

APF 2023: Towards Climate Adaptation Partnership in SEE

The Agricultural Policy Forum 2023 gathered more than 116 representatives of relevant institutions from 15 countries from Southeast Europe beyond on October 25th and 26th in Podgorica, Montenegro. The focus of the APF 2023 was on partnership and cooperation in dealing with climate adaptation in SEE. This year's Forum discussed a range of prospects, with a focus on the importance of fostering partnerships and cooperation to address climate adaptation in agriculture.
